A personalised new baby book for a proud big brother or sister

A new baby is coming home. This story starts with the waiting, then the meeting — how small they are, the tiny fingernails, the soft head — and your child is the curious, proud big brother or sister at the heart of it.

Waiting

A painted storybook page: a girl kneeling on a window seat with her hands on the glass, her little sister standing on the stairs holding up a drawing
It starts before the baby comes home — a present chosen, something new in the corner that wasn't there before, and a lot of looking out of the window.

Home at last

A painted storybook page: two girls just inside an open front door, smiling down at a newborn baby asleep in a car-seat carrier on the hall floor
Then the front door opens, and there they are — so small, wrapped in a blanket, home for the first time.

I can do gentle

A painted storybook page: a girl sitting in a big striped armchair carefully holding a newborn baby, her little sister perched on the arm of the chair
Your child gets to hold the baby — sitting right back in the big chair, careful and proud.

Belonging

A painted storybook page: two girls kneeling on a play mat, smiling at a newborn baby lying on its back and holding the older girl's finger
And at the end, something just for them — a tiny hand curling round their finger.
