A personalised Christmas book where your child saves Santa's beard

It's Christmas Eve morning at Santa's, and everything is going wrong with his beard. A candy cane gets stuck in it, an elf tips icing all over it, and then it turns bright pink. Your child is the special guest who helps put it right — and then rides in the sleigh.

Order your hardcover by Wednesday 9 December for delivery before Christmas. The ebook usually arrives in under 15 minutes, right up to Christmas Eve.

Inside the book

A watercolour storybook page: Santa in the snow with a candy cane stuck in his beard, and a girl laughing beside him
They walked along a narrow lane beside the workshop. Santa swung his candy cane and — oh dear, oh no! It slipped right out of his hand and stuck fast in his beard, pointing straight up like a flag in the snow. "Oh deary me, why am I always so clumsy!" He grabbed great handfuls of his beard and pulled and tugged. But the candy cane was stuck and it would not budge at all — it sat there in his beard, all snug.
A watercolour storybook page: chocolate icing all down Santa's beard after an elf drops a tower of cupcake boxes, two sisters watching
They stopped at a corner under a tall lit window. An elf came round with a tower of cupcake boxes high. The elf wobbled — tipped — and icing went everywhere, all down Santa's beard in one great chocolatey slide. "Oh no! So sorry, Santa!" cried the elf. "Oh deary me, why is it always me?" Olive stood and thought for just a moment — then said, "I know exactly where to be."
A watercolour storybook page: Santa in a wooden chair holding a mirror, his beard bright pink, a little girl giggling beside him and her dad behind
Santa sat down in the wooden chair beside the window. Joni poured the bottle — swoosh — all through his beard. The foam went white, then pink, then pinker, pinker, pinker — and the colour that came out was very weird. Santa held the mirror up and looked and looked. His beard was bright and pink from top to tip. "Oh deary me — why is it always me?" he said, and his mouth fell open with a drip.
A watercolour storybook page: Santa and three children in a red sleigh flying high above a snowy town at night
High above the dark town, the sleigh sailed through the stars. The lights below were small and warm and bright. Olive leaned right out and looked straight down at them, and Santa stretched one hand out to the night. "Because you've been so good," he said, "you'll have yours early." He reached back to the sack with a smile so wide. Olive, Joni, Bodhi — what a Christmas Eve this was, up in the sky, with Santa there beside.
