A personalised starting school book for your child's first day

A first day at school is a big day. This story walks through it with your child: the uniform laid out in the morning, one goodbye at the gate, their very own coat peg, a brand new friend — and their grown-up waiting at home time, exactly as promised.

Getting ready

A painted storybook page: a girl in everyday clothes beside her bed, a grey school pinafore and white shirt laid out on it, a book bag by the door
The uniform laid out on the bed, the book bag by the door, and a feeling that's excited and a little bit wobbly, both at once.

Their very own peg

A painted storybook page: a girl in a grey school pinafore hanging her coat on a peg in a sunny cloakroom, smiling
A coat peg that's just theirs — the moment school starts to feel like their place.

A new friend

A painted storybook page: a girl in a school pinafore holding up a yellow block beside a tall tower of wooden blocks
The heart of the day: your child makes the first move — "Can I play with you?" — and makes a new friend.

Right here at home time

A painted storybook page: a girl in a school pinafore running out of the school gate towards open arms, her little sister waving behind her
At home time their grown-up is waiting, exactly as promised — and there's one good thing from the day to tell.
